OER ABSI/ESD S20.20,when personnel are seated at ESD oritective work-stations,they shall be connected to the common poit ground via awrist strap system. Wrist Straps are an integral part of an overall effective ESD control system and the most common grounding devices used to control static charges.Wrist straps safely remove static charge from the operator toprotect your ESD susceptible components and products.

The wrist strap consists of a wrist band and agrounding cord. Grounding cord length is the extended length for the coiled cords. The molded cap on the grounding cord that snaps onto the wristband contains a One megohm resistor.There are several ways to connect wrist strap to the grounding point.
